Open Die Forging

We shape metal between flat or simple contoured dies on a 1-tonne capacity open die hammer delivering 27 kJ (2,700 mkg) per blow. This process is ideal for large, custom and oversized components, enhancing internal grain structure for superior strength and toughness with flexible deformation paths for almost any size or shape.
